Edit: You are actually allowed to ride bikes on these trails. There are signs on the paved roads that say that all wheeled vehicles must stay on the road. However, contradicting this, the signs on the actual trailheads say that biking is allowed. I would recommend a mountain bike, as the trails are very bumpy.
After driving through the whole park and stopping and looking at trail maps, I ended up starting at trail marker 14, there are lots of cross trails where you can make your own size loop or do it there and back whatever you prefer.
It was very nice and wasn't very dirty. I did go on Memorial Day, so there was fish in the water and tadpoles, but it's a lake! No problems with that at all. The people were nice, but I got lost trying to get there because I've never driven there before 😂 not everybody else will have that problem.
This was a great hiking experience. Up and down Hills, over Roots, big steps, rocks, right by the water. Lots of variety in the landscape and the lakes were beautiful. We saw lots of people walking dogs. There were several cool forts built in the woods as well
