Confirmed from Seven Lakes State Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Wonderful State Park. Trails are very well marked, around 9 miles give or take a few, great for running or hiking. Great fishing on all of the lakes with shore access to fish most of them if you don't have a boat. Multiple playground areas, picnic tables, BBQ grills and pavilions.

This park is by far the best park for quite some distance well maintained buildings and roads (the few that are there) and beach, a boat launch, and miles and miles of walking paths.

★★★★★ — M , Jul 2016

Went for the first time and couldn't believe how big this state park is with about 7 different areas for beach leaving plenty of room for everyone without feeling crowded! Walked trails 4, 5, 6, and walked to the small opening at the end of trail 7. It was quite the walk but worth seeing all the nature.

★★★★★ — Lonnie , Jul 2021

I love this park! The trails are challenging and clearly marked. The trails are also maintained. There are plenty of lake views. Stunning!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
