Confirmed from Holdridge CRAMBA Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Holdridge CRAMBA Trailhead

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (129 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“Trail head is well kept and has everything you need.”

Good variety of mountain bike trails for people of all skill levels. North Loop is a fairly flat and not technical 2 mile loop great for beginners. There is the West loop that is a good intermediate trail that has a couple optional additions to it that make it more technical.

★★★★★ — David , Jan 2020

Great trail system. 25 miles all together. Turtle loop is .75 miles long. North loop is 2.2 miles long. (Beginner) West loop is 4, 5 or 6 miles long. (Beginner/ Intermediate) East loop is 16 miles long. Longer steeper climbs, rock piles, steep drops, bridge crossings over ponds and tight twisty sections.

★★★★★ — Ron , Mar 2026

Great small set of mixed trails. And a longer pain in the butt east loop. It’s actually a good trail system, rigid single speeder and I still like it 🤷‍♂️. Just watch out for random acts of violence from stray 🌲’s , not all 🌳 are nice!

★★★★★ — Chad , Aug 2022

Great, varied yet challenging trail network just off of i75. Well maintained by CRAMBA. Can get a little muddy at times but such is the nature of most Michigan single tracks.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🔁 Loop trail 19 mentions

“The west loop is perfect environment for OCR training, the trail was clear with the occasional log or rocks which made it even better running or riding.”
