Confirmed from Holmes Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lakefront park featuring walking and bike trails, beach volleyball and fishing spots.
What runners say about Holmes Lake Park
“Lovely crushed limestone to run/walk on and such beautiful scenery as you go around the lake.”
Holmes lake is an amazing place to go. There's a trail that you can hike, walk or bike around the lake. A really nice playground for the kids with bathroom facilities near by. We have gone out there for picnics, cookouts, play dates at the park, fishing, magnet fishing, walks and on Thursday evenings June - August.
My partner tells me that he really likes running the trail at Holmes Lake because the end is in sight. I like getting out in nature and Holmes lake is a great place to do that, it's easy to see different forms of wildlife each time I go and how things change there throughout the seasons.
Went to Holmes lake today and enjoyed a little family time under the shade tree. Took some pictures of a duck 🦆 family
Wow! Wonderful place to fish! Wonderful place to walk! Scenic views with snow!
