Confirmed from Hugh Ramsey Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Good place to walk only advice i have is take water, some repelent just in case and good walking/running shoes, so I like the fact that it's natural they left it as is. Only thing is they keep up with the edges of trail so they won't close in and they put some benches so you can rest that is nice.

Nice place to go bird watching or hiking, we saw plenty of birds, rabbits, wild mice and 5 javelinas.

★★★★★ — Cinthya , Jan 2026

Nice for a shorter walk, just to stretch your legs. You can catch different birds, turtles, and rabbits most of the time. They have some benches and viewing areas. Bug spray is recommended at all times. Admission is free, a sign with a map at the entrance shows you trails and distances.

Stopped her to get in a quick walk before flying out and what a treat! I couldn't walk the entire park, but I got in a quick mile and a half. In that short time, I saw a turtle, countless birds, and a couple of bunnies. It's lovely and there's this great little cactus lined path that is surreal. Such a nice park!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
