Confirmed from Arroyo Colorado World Birding Ctr's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

It's a beautiful nature park. Saw plenty of animals and birds. I'd say it's one of the best here in Harlingen. The trails are good exercise and the vegetation is pretty normal, I couldn't think of another word. I did see some plants that I've never seen in the valley, but hey it's a nature park.

There's always parking there restrooms and benches through out the trails for rest or simply sit and rest . The wildlife from many species of birds and turtles, snakes and wild boar .. 🐗 , don't worry they're almost domesticated..use to people

I live nearby and I walk these trails as often as possible. Love it. Dogs love it. Kids love it. We've encountered javelina, snakes, tree lizards, big tortoises... We love the pheasants, too.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
