Confirmed from Arroyo Colorado World Birding Ctr's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Nature preserve with kid-friendly hiking trails, picnic tables, and a public restroom.
What runners say about Arroyo Colorado World Birding Ctr
“Gorgeous area, saw an Indigo Snake, Javalina, Green Jay, Tufted Titmouse, some bunnies and a few other birds 🐦”
Absolutely recommend this for anyone including seniors! Easy trails for health. 🌹 and so much beauty 🌼
It's a beautiful nature park. Saw plenty of animals and birds. I'd say it's one of the best here in Harlingen. The trails are good exercise and the vegetation is pretty normal, I couldn't think of another word. I did see some plants that I've never seen in the valley, but hey it's a nature park.
There's always parking there restrooms and benches through out the trails for rest or simply sit and rest . The wildlife from many species of birds and turtles, snakes and wild boar .. 🐗 , don't worry they're almost domesticated..use to people
I live nearby and I walk these trails as often as possible. Love it. Dogs love it. Kids love it. We've encountered javelina, snakes, tree lizards, big tortoises... We love the pheasants, too.
