Confirmed from Hunn Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Hunn Nature Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (85 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“The weather was beautiful and so is this new area.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 10 mentions

“Great trail really quiet nice and easy so many differant paths to take it was really nice”

*Edit: If you have kids, you may want to be cautious. It's becoming common to see people either in their cars or on the trails getting high in the evenings. I guess the cops don't patrol the area like they used to.

This place is perfect for a quick walk with a nice view. I hadn't known for a while that you can find the loop with bridges if you go right, past the cement slab instead of following the path left. Unlike when you go left there isn't initially a defined path on the right so it's hard to miss

★★★★★ — Esther , Feb 2021

Great place to go for a walk especially now that there is a bridge to complete the racetrack loop. Love the work that is being done to this park. Only downfall is there are too many bugs when it is hot out. But a great place in winter, spring and late fall.

★★★★☆ — Polly , Feb 2020

A nice little park to bring the family or take a run/hike. There's a few loops through woody areas and some sunny areas where they've planted new trees.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
