Nice bike trails with a southern entrance, easier to access than the alcoa entrance. Large dog park and playground with facilities at the southern entrance. Bike trails are great, nice climbs, some flowy suctions, and a few rock features.
Nice trail system for hiking and biking. The lake is beautiful, and a nice place for folks to fish. Blue Heron may even be spotted along the banks. If you're looking for a good hour or two of trail walking or running, but don't have time to make it all the way to the mountains, this is a very nice alternative. Note...
This park is gorgeous & offers wonderful trails for a lovely afternoon hike!
If you want to go for small trails near Knoxville city, this is a good place. There is small parking area and an observation deck but no restrooms. The trails are narrow and usually muddy after the rain.
