The trail has areas of exposed tree roots and large rocks that leaves can conceal and make slippery. Wear hiking boots and take your time. There are some steep hills with beautiful overlooks. This is a part of the ice age trail. The parking is limited.
This is one of the best trails for viewing the raw nature of the Kettle Moraine Kettles, kames, and drumlins.
Great hike with better than usual elevation change for this part of the country. It's in great shape, too
