We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Lone Tree Bluff yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lone Tree Bluff
Eight at the edge of a lonely road, easy to get to. Quite a challenge to many, the steps are steep at points, and there are a lot. But if you can make it up, absolutely worth it to see the view. Also close to several other nice paths with varying difficulty. Fishing close by. Printed pamphlets in the box for a quarter.
Small short hike but worth it. Only for the fit because it is a steep trail.
While the “Lone Tree Bluff” decsrip was questionable, the neat hike with no crowds was refreshing.
