This hike is quickly becoming one of my favorites in the area. Lots of different terrain and views. The parking lot is near a well-trafficked road so it seems relatively safe. The vault toilet has been clean both times I've used it.
Great hike. We did not do the whole loop as we were running out if daylight and did not have our headlamps. But we still did about 5 miles. It was a fun hike. There are some hills to walk up but nothing too strenous. It really comes down to how in shape a person is.
Peaceful, beautiful trail that is mostly flat. It is quite narrow in some sections, and times when it goes directly over boulders. I don't see how you could easily bike it, but I love being here. I love the quiet.
Beautiful, absolutely gorgeous. The trail is easy for even the lil hikers. This is a place I often take my kids to hike without safety concerns. When hiking by myself I prefer to go off trail and go straight up. You can watch a beautiful sunset from the higher elevations or enjoy the riverside down below.
