Confirmed from Indian River Park South Side's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
91-acre forested park providing a playground, sports field & miles of mountain biking/hiking trails.
What runners say about Indian River Park South Side
“The trails were limited but well maintained and had enough variety to keep the kids entertained.”
“This is a beautiful little hidden maze of trails with a rudimentary bike obstacle course [ I know that's NOT what you call it 😬🤦🏽♀️] tucked inside.”
“An urban forest and trails, a peaceful little escape to nature.”
I brought my dog here for a nature walk. It started raining but the leaf coverage did an excellent job keeping us dry during the light rain. There are little name placards to identify some of the trees and trail markings to follow for different trails. It's a nice quiet and peaceful place to walk.
This is a beautiful little hidden maze of trails with a rudimentary bike obstacle course [ I know that's NOT what you call it 😬🤦🏽♀️] tucked inside. The trails appear to be well maintained underneath a wonderful canopy of trees/vegetation. The little bridges and 'obstacles' add to the fun of walking the trails.
It is rated easy on the all trails app, but to be honest is a little more advanced than easy, it should be rated easy/moderate, it is great for hiking, biking and every Monday evening they play Airsoft on the back end of the trail. It is great for biking.
A wonderful park for walking although it’s best experienced on bike. Only down tick would be that the trails are not very clearly marked. A wonderful place to wander about and as stated more enjoyable with a bike.
