Confirmed from Indian River Park South Side's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Indian River Park South Side

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (829 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“The trails were limited but well maintained and had enough variety to keep the kids entertained.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 5 mentions

“This is a beautiful little hidden maze of trails with a rudimentary bike obstacle course [ I know that's NOT what you call it 😬🤦🏽‍♀️] tucked inside.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“An urban forest and trails, a peaceful little escape to nature.”

I brought my dog here for a nature walk. It started raining but the leaf coverage did an excellent job keeping us dry during the light rain. There are little name placards to identify some of the trees and trail markings to follow for different trails. It's a nice quiet and peaceful place to walk.

This is a beautiful little hidden maze of trails with a rudimentary bike obstacle course [ I know that's NOT what you call it 😬🤦🏽‍♀️] tucked inside. The trails appear to be well maintained underneath a wonderful canopy of trees/vegetation. The little bridges and 'obstacles' add to the fun of walking the trails.

★★★★☆ — Miss , Feb 2022

It is rated easy on the all trails app, but to be honest is a little more advanced than easy, it should be rated easy/moderate, it is great for hiking, biking and every Monday evening they play Airsoft on the back end of the trail. It is great for biking.

★★★★★ — Marco , Jan 2021

A wonderful park for walking although it’s best experienced on bike. Only down tick would be that the trails are not very clearly marked. A wonderful place to wander about and as stated more enjoyable with a bike.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
