Confirmed from Isaac D. Rodriguez Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park featuring baseball fields, a playground, a splash pad and a skate ramp.
What runners say about Isaac D. Rodriguez Park
“Love the splash pad, and the bathroom next to it provides good shade in the morning (and the bathroom works).”
Its dusty, has fire ants, and seems kinda sad. However, I went specifically for the disc golf course and I went in the middle of the day on Friday. They have a 9 hole course that is great for practice. There is no way you can possibly loose a disc here.
My kids love coming to this park , uts really simple but they also have a small skate ramp are so my kids use that area for their RC monster trucks, and their bikes. They have a blast. It could use some shaded seating areas for the parents though.
Every saturday they have a Live Action Role Play (LARP).Its quite fun, the people are friendly and helpful, they teach you how to play the game, how to make garb, armor, and they can also show you how to make your own foam weapons. Some of the weapons they make are foam swords axes polearms shields and foam arrows.
One of the water features was missing a cover, which made the hole hard to see when the water was running. I also think having some sort of partial fencing on the north side would be a great idea since the splash pad is close to the street.

“For all other park goers there is a beautifully paved and lined path for walkers and runners and there's a nice skate park- both sharing the disc golf area.”
“Other than that the park is quite peaceful they have water fountains that most of the little kids play at when it gets super hot.”
