Confirmed from Mayor Pablo Peña Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring soccer & softball fields, tennis courts, a play structure & a paved walking trail.
What runners say about Mayor Pablo Peña Park
“Nice and clean park the only worry I have are some kids who hang around the back area by the houses that smoke weed but they keep to themselves.”
“Perfect place for a run and to spend time outside.”
I like that each lap around is about a mile. The trail is paved and marked for traffic and bicycle path directions along with distance markers. It has workout stations also along with pavilions, tennis courts and basketball courts. Perfect place for a run and to spend time outside.
Been jogging here for a while grass is kept cut short trail is a good size. LOVE that they re did the tennis courts 😁🙂 they are awesome !!! Nice and clean nets are new also. Now I'm taking my daughter so she can enjoy a sport that I love.
It's a great place for a walk/run. Has a little uphill nothing to hard-core. Their work out stations are around the walk area and they have the machines at the beginning of the mile which are pretty good too Also for the kids they have great places for them to play and an area for parents or family to sit at and…
This is a nice park with a walking trail and exercise stations, some of these are new. There is plenty of room to play softball, soccer, and basketball. Families can grill and picnic. The Weslaco Boys and Girls Club is located in this park.
