Confirmed from Jason Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Jason Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (533 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“We came for a T Ball game and there were nice mature trees to shade us, even a fruiting chestnut tree.”

My favorite dog park with well behaved dogs and pup parents! The gate stays open so be sure your dog has good recall and plays well with others. Great playground for kids in another area and there's plenty of parking. Be aware of dog friendly times, as sometimes there are children's sport events in the dog run area.

This is a amazing park. The remodel that they did here is perfect. If you child loves big slides this is the place for them. This park offers picnic tables and Johnny on the spots. Very clean and safe feeling. Lots of room to run.

Excellent park. Plenty of grass for your dog to run around in, ALL the amenities you need in one place, and the grass was great. Everything was easy to locate. Probably one of the best parks I probably been to. Absolutely recommend this park!

This park is nice and very convenient. There is ample parking and bathrooms. You can find shade, and there are benches. It's a great spot to take kids to play or stop by for lunch on a blanket. There does seem to be some rule about letting your dogs off leash in the big grassy area. I guess it's an open field dog park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 39 mentions

“They have nice/new playground equipment, lots of nice grass in good condition and even a fenced area where dogs can run when there are no organized sports using it.”

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says

  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
