Confirmed from Jenne Butte Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Jenne Butte Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (102 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Beautiful place, garbage in various spots from old camps though.”

Love walking the trails all throughout the butte... I gained access via the east side...see Google Maps.... I like that it's not really a developed park.. And the water tower at the top is cool too. There are no restrooms....and the trails are mostly straight up and down....

I love this place but it is really more of a small wilderness preserve with a small hiking trail than what most people think of as a "park". If you are looking for picnic tables, playgrounds, bathrooms or any pavement you will be disappointed.

A great day park for humans, leashed pets (including horses) Offers a variety of terrain, forested to grasslands this is a park with many long well-kept trails. If your a fancy city boy this isn't your typical hour hike you'll need time to explore, leave your fancy-boy shoes at home.

Awesome urban nature park with miles of easy to moderate hiking trails. Parking lot tends to fill up on weekends and holidays. Beautiful views of the Cascades on clear days.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 5 mentions

“great little forest hill with trails and views, for those who are capable of exploring and discovering without being told where to go.”
