Confirmed from Johns Pond Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

A beautiful pond and recreational area to experience! Not only is it friendly, clean and just a lovely pond it's easy to get to and there are plenty of things to do. Lots of walking trails, places for small boat and kayak launching. This is just a lovely spot to experience.

Small pond beach that won't get too crowded. Will mostly have locals. Great for families, lots of space to run around. A little too noisy from neighboring homes and beach activities being played.

★★★★☆ — Matthew , Sep 2016

Fresh water pond beaches are all over Cape Cod: Fewer crowds, easier parking, no salt in your hair, calm water for little ones and natural shade.

★★★★☆ — Steve , Jun 2023

Huge beach and a great playground too. If you feel adventurous you can try some of the trails. Very clean with public restrooms too.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
