Pros - Beautiful! Glorious! Clean! Serene! Easy parking. They provide dog poo bags, so it'll be sure to use them. . Note - Not for bikes, but wheelchair accessible throughout. It is recommended to bring a map or follow yourself on GPS. There are restrooms at the parking lot, as well as inside the trails.
Beautiful place to walk in the spring, summer and fall. Not as nice on the winter when they drain the water. You can see all kinds of wildlife here early in the morning or evenings. Kids will love seeing turtles and bullfrogs. Deer can be seen pretty often.
I visited Katherine Albertson Park on June 3, 2024, around 5:30 p.m. to see how things had changed since March. It had rained heavily in the morning and It was still overcast do the temperature was pleasant. The air was redolent with the smell of recent rain and flowering trees and bushes.
This park is breathtaking! To the marsh , flowers and endless senory. You will stop for a moment and bask in it's captavating views. This park is a great place to go on a family outing Or a hike. It almost feels like the paths go on forever.
