Confirmed from Kernersville Lake Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 6 mentions

It's a great place to bring the family or even just by your self. There are great trails, paddle boats and fishing 🦦. I like to see the ducks while I sit back and look at the lake.

Most of the times I visit kernersville I come here and take a walk. It's beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. It has plenty of stuff to do (pedal boats, kayak, fishing, bird watching, picnic areas, playground, shelter for birthdays or other parties) and it's pet friendly (please have your fur babies on a leash).

Absolutely beautiful and fun park. There is a small but nice walking trail that lines one side of the lake. You can go fishing and there are many nice spots with benches right by the water to sit. You can also rent a motorized boat for fishing for about $8-$10. You can rent a paddle boat for fishing for $5/ 30 minutes.

Very peaceful, not crowded, a place that is definitely overlooked by most. attendants were friendly and helpful. Grounds are well kept and clean. Park is tidy, neat and well organized. My only recommendation is that the walking trails be better marked like the boating and fishing areas are.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
