Confirmed from Kiwanis Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 2 mentions

“Plus an official pitch-and-putt course adds fun for golf fans of all ages.”

This 8+ acre park is full of things to do; there is something for everyone here. I felt safe, but then I always do in the city of Battle Ground. There is a frisbee golf course, a nice paved walking trail, a large picnic shelter with BBQ's, a nice size playground, a splash pad, basketball courts, and an open field with…

Fun splash pad park that also has shaded areas with benches and picnic tables around the play area. Nice play structure for different levels of play. Disc golf, basketball hoops, pickleball courts, and a paved pathway for riding bikes or walking with a stroller are nice. There's a lot of grassy area to run in as well.

Amazing park that’s opened during covid plandemic. Definitely worth the trip, with plenty of room for the kids to play, swing, climb, and run. Even have picnic tables for a quick snack. Huge grass field next to park is perfect for the dog! Come one come all to this fantastic place!

★★★★★ — Keith , Jul 2020

There's currently construction going on but it does not obstruct the playground for the kids. There is plenty of Park left to walk around in as well as disc golf course that I was not aware of. Just took my lunch break here today. The new addition should be amazing.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 7 mentions

“Restrooms & Accessibility On-site restrooms (though occasional renovation closures occur) and easy access from the parking lot make visits convenient for all users.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
