Confirmed from Knights Ferry Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park featuring river beach access for kayaking, swimming and other activities, plus a historic bridge.

The natural beauty here is incredible. The museum hopefully will be open soon after quarantine is a really great museum with lots of stuffed wildlife and examples of how the native Americans lived and also the early settler and gold rush people..
Knights Ferry is such a gorgeous spot for photos! The scenery is beautiful year-round — golden fields, big trees, and that perfect river backdrop. It has so many versatile spots, from open fields to shaded areas and the historic bridge, making it perfect for any kind of session.
I would have rated it 10 stars!! My favorite park around. The scenery is amazing!! Lots of areas to hike/nature walk and take gorgeous pictures. Great place to bring out the gold pan and try to get lucky. It's very clean and well kept. We've never had any problems there.
This place is a beauty. I love the historical side of it, it's very charming. We went on April and it was already very hot which made the view of the water even more attractive 😊 i just want to jump in there. There's not a lot of shade so we had to cut our hike short, but Overall it's a refreshing place to go to.
