Confirmed from Lagoon Trail At Pelican Road's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Flat, family-friendly path offering golf course views, scenic overlooks and bird-watching opportunities.
What runners say about Lagoon Trail At Pelican Road
“It's a beautiful trail and we say good morning to everyone we pass by.”
“Wide, winding Dog friendly trail, no biking allowed, connects to Ember and Rye as well as Batiquitos foundation which is family friendly and a nice nature center.”
A great trail walk! 3 miles long but flat walkable terrain the whole way. Family friendly, pups included! TONS of birds on the water, very cool to see them in a natural habitat. Midway on the trail the nearby Aviara Golf resort welcomes walkers and even hands out doggy biscuits and fresh water for 4-legged walkers=).
Really loved the walk around the lagoon. Such a beautiful place nestled between the hustle and bustle.
Great trail for a walk. About 2 miles to walk the entire trail and back.
I walk this trail with my mom about once a week. It's a beautiful trail and we say good morning to everyone we pass by. It's the perfect distance for a morning walk or jog, and it's pretty much flat the whole way. I'm grateful to have found it!
