Confirmed from Lake Jesup Conservation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
6,220-acre protected area offering wildlife views, primitive campsites, a range of trails & boating.
What runners say about Lake Jesup Conservation Area
“Very beautiful, but the only issue is there are bridges (SR 46) and (Toll rd 415) that pass through it and debris from the vehicles lands in the water.”
This is an awesome place to see sunflowers (best time is late September to early October). The best hike to see sunflowers is the Mark Bed Flats Trail. Follow the red trail out to the flats and you will be immersed in a sea of yellow flowers.
Great hiking area near Oviedo. A nice short, well-earned trail leads to a cool observation tower near Lake Jesup.
It's a wonderful place to hike! It is absolutely beautiful and peaceful! I will be back for sure and bring friends to enjoy this amazing adventure. I highly recommend it.
Very pretty. Some of the trails were wet and mucky even though there was not a lot of rain. The area we hiked was commonly used for horses.
