Confirmed from Little Big Econ Barr Street Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

I recently explored the hiking trails in this area, and it was truly an amazing experience! The variety of trails provides a challenge for your navigational skills, especially if you start at the Barr Trailhead following the orange, green, yellow, and white blazes adds to the adventure.

What a beautiful hike! We did part of the Koloke loop, going about 2 miles east along the Econ River and then back to the parking lot. The trail is often just wide enough for one person and is heavily shaded.

Awesome ltrees and gators! I came with a small group and we didn't do the loop. We went down the trail nearest the water to a little peninsula and came back. It was under 4 miles total. There are some really lovely trees along the way. We also saw about 5 gators with a couple being quite large.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
