Confirmed from Lanierland Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is a great park in the making! My 5 year old loves the "purple playground" and as a parent I do as well. It has a built-in shade and a nice layout. The new walking/running trail is a great addition as well. I look forward to watching the this park continue to grow.

So fun! The playground is great and the soccer fields are super nice! The baseball diamonds look great too. Wonderful, paved walking trail, dog friendly, and the playground is well fenced in. It's got appropriate equipment for both toddlers and older kids, and has some ada accessible equipment as well.

One of our favorite places to go! Great for the entire family young and younger! Plenty of parking and space to run around in the fresh air! Really beautiful at night for a game!

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
