Confirmed from LaPrele Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park popular for its disc-golf course, alongside a pond where kids can fish and frisbee golf.
What runners say about LaPrele Park
“Park is well maintained, although grass is not mowed throughout.”
Nice park with a mix of maintained and less maintained (natural) open space. There's a pond with a pier for kids to fish, playground equipment, several trails, plenty of trees, disc golf course, covered areas for events, bathrooms, lots of benches, and a natural creek with several bridges to cross.
Great park to walk my dog. Stream through the middle is pretty. Small playground for children, frisbee golf course as well. Park is well maintained, although grass is not mowed throughout.
Trail conditions & character
“Not overly crowded, has a stocked fishing pond for children, a frisbee course, wheelchair accessibility in the restrooms as well as over to Huck Finn pond, and a small playground.”
“Above all else, it's a great course to take my dog out when it's not to crowded.”
“I like the parking area, but I don't like the encroachment of new homes near the park.”

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
