Confirmed from Laurel Springs Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Laurel Springs Regional Park
“Soccer and football fields plus a park, always clean never an issue”
“There are lots of trees on the path, which gives shade while walking or running.”
Laurel Springs has great soccer fields, baseball fields, picnic pavilions, and a good playground. You can hike to Lake Tilghman too, the park next door.
This is a great location and has so many perks. There are an ample number of restrooms making this playground perfect for large families or gatherings. The play area is surrounded by a fence with a gate so smaller children cannot just run into the parking lot. There are many different types of swings!
Nice quiet place to walk in the woods and charge phev with j1772 connection
A beautifully kept park with multiple sports field. We came for a baseball tournament and had plenty of parking. The restroom facilities were basic but clean. There is a large playground suitable for multiple age groups, but is not immediately next to the sports fields.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
