Cool spot to take a short walk and see the eagles. Immediately saw two eagles right when we pulled into the parking lot. Lots of informational plaques. Dog friendly.
Excellent place to see a mating pair of bald eagles and well maintained trails as well! Great for a quick hike or walk in the outdoors. I was fortunate to be the only one here while enjoying the park.
I came here not knowing what to expect but to my surprise it was pretty nice. That has a nice balance of woodsy trails, open grassland, resting spots and views of the Potomac River. It was cool seeing bald eagles high up on poles and trees protecting their nests. My favorite spot by far though is the pond.
Very nice place yo walk and enjoy nature! Definitely time to spend relaxing, there is many areas for the bald eagle, if you like you will see them, go there and enjoy fresh air and nature and enjoy with your family, totally free, there is enough parking and area for picnic or cookout.
