Confirmed from Levee Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Riverfront area with picnic tables and trails for walking and biking.
What runners say about Levee Park
“Park is beautiful and peaceful ☺️ definitely try walking the labyrinth and playing the sound in the Harmony Park area… walkable from the historic Main Street with shops …”
As a seasoned parks and recreation professional, this park is a must see when visiting Hastings. Beautiful place for a nice walk that is super spacious, lots of good views, and little pieces of historic information about the park. Definitely worth the drive if you’re coming from the cities or beyond.
Beautiful place to walk with dogs or your boyfriend. Or both!! Seriously though it’s such a nice walk that is super spacious, lots of good views, and little pieces of historic information about the park. Definitely worth the drive if you’re coming from the cities.
Loved this park, right on the river. Nice paved walking path great for longboarding biking ect. Swings a little ways down near the water to sit and watch the ducks and harmony park was also there to make music on the instruments. We got ice cream at the local DQ and watched the sunset.
Beautiful place to walk along the river. Harmonic Park feature is very cool. Even adults enjoyed making music 🎵

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller

- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
