Confirmed from Vermillion Falls Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Pit stop with a scenic waterfall, walking trail & rentable picnic pavilion for events.
What runners say about Vermillion Falls Park
“Very well maintained and a lot of history here”
“This is a beautiful, historic little area with some adventurous, unmarked trails below the falls.”
“I wore a dress and sandals and it was an easy walk for me to take photos !”
So beautiful! Wonderfully groomed paths. I was able to easily push the baby in a large stroller from the parking lot to the bridge. Easy free parking. Gorgeous Pavillion to overlook the falls (not stroller friendly, as there were stairs).
Visited on Mother's Day with the family before a wedding. A beautiful waterfall and peaceful atmosphere! Perfect time, the area was clean. Easy water to the waterfall. A must see! Few restaurants around as well. Parking lot close to the waterfall approximately a 2/3 minute walk.
Beautiful park and water falls with paved paths and great signage, even in winter. I had to be careful with some ice on the trail, especially near the falls. It is an easy walk from the parking lot. The gorge is very pretty, and the falls are absolutely breathtaking! Well worth a stop when you are in Hastings.
Beautiful park with paved paths and great signage. Easy to walk from the falls across the bridge to the old mill ruins - took about 35 minutes total to go there and back. (2km) The gorge is very pretty, and the falls are absolutely breathtaking!
