Confirmed from Losco Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
City green space with a modern play structure & a splash pad, plus snacks, picnic tables & grills.
What runners say about Losco Regional Park
“The only thing negative I would say is to the dog owners: Clean up after your dogs!”
“My only complaint is that the playground is not shaded so if it's a hot day, the playground equipment and swings will be hot!”
“The trails are easy to follow and well marked.”
This is my new favorite park. It has baseball fields, soccer field, splash pad, pond with ducks, walking trails, huge playground, picnic tables and benches. Endless parking all around the park. If you go to the far end of the parking lot, there is 3 walking trails that Intertwine with each other.
We love it here. A community hub of life and fun. Walking here is beneficial for all types of health: physical, emotional, spiritual... There is just something about these long winding branches all reaching towards one another!
Been coming here for over 20 years and the continual upgrades make it better and better. Great place to walk for exercise (especially with the new paved path), enjoy some live oaks, and bring the kids.
First time here it was visually pleasing. There is great play sets here for ages 5-12. A water park that the kids loved. Also great parking, bathrooms are available, and soccer fields. I seen a football team practicing over here. So many different things to do.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
