Such a great destination, just 25 minutes from downtown Boise! Picturesque both the drive and the park itself, gorgeous backdrops paired with a soothing sound of running water. Please make a reservation for their bbq area ( theirs is a big gazebo to guarantee plenty of shade ) for group parties!

This lake used to be big enough for Boise and the surrounding area, but it's getting too crowded, unfortunately. Still extremely beautiful scenery and tons of places to hike and explore, but if you're trying to ski on an average day in the summer, you'll have to go WAY out away from the park areas to get a little…
Been in Idaho 6 years now, still discovering all it's beauty. This is my favorite park to be at so far that is close in miles. I love nature so I welcome geese , ducks and squirrels. Everyone was so nice all around us, it was a really cool place. I recommend it. We were at the beach section.
