Confirmed from Maguire Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wooded park with gym equipment, picnic and bike-fix areas for an easy trail walk.
What runners say about Maguire Park
“Across the path there is a pavilion for group events, it is sometimes not very clean.”
“I think its a super nice place for all ages.”
This park is not huge but it has a few things for kids to play on and has an exercise area. However, it does have a nice walking/biking/running etc. trail that goes over to Hawk Island Park.
Very nice walk. Many bridges with awesome nature and river views. Playground is different than others and always a favorite for the kids. I think its a super nice place for all ages.
A nice entry to the Lansing River Trail. Plenty of free parking. Right off the parking lot there is a portable toilet. There is also a bike station with various tools. Across the path there is a pavilion for group events, it is sometimes not very clean. Towards the entrance to the woods there is a large play structure.
A small but but beautiful and well kept park. Just a single trail through a wooded area shaded by a canopy of trees. For a park located in a urban area there is a surprising amount of wildlife to see if you get lucky. Great place for a relaxing getaway from the city.
