Confirmed from Mahoney Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
77-acre green space featuring a golf course, sports courts & fields, a playground & hiking trails.
What runners say about Mahoney Park
“Very well maintained in regards to the kids playground and parks, great place to enjoy some time with family and friends.”
“Love the new playground but Mahoney's still a solid place to go for the trails and community gathering spaces -- it's beautiful and tucked away right in town!”
“The new inclusive playground is amazing — plenty of space to climb, slide, and explore, and it’s designed so kids of all ages and abilities can play together.”
Went out and back 9.92 mi 3 h 9 m. Trail was kept up pretty well. Lots of people out and about. I went east first to 112th st where the trail ended and went back west to 48th and Fremont. Another trail goes east from there. Lots to do at Mahoney Park, basketball, baseball, playground, and there are restrooms.
Amazing! Although we had a couple of negatives occur- someone left their drinks all over, and my autistic son kept trying to drink them... and then my other son got on the step climber elliptical thing, and it immediately fell apart, and the heavy piece hit his leg.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Mahoney Park is a wonderful place for families! I recently took my three kids there, and they had an absolute blast. The new inclusive playground is amazing — plenty of space to climb, slide, and explore, and it’s designed so kids of all ages and abilities can play together.
Great walking trail. Love the hill. It connects to a dirt trail that can take you all the way out of town to a llama farm or into town pretty much to East campus. Lots of big trees, benches on the trail, Standard park things, soccer and baseball fields, tennis courts, open area where kites can be flown.
