Confirmed from Manzanita County Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Baseball & soccer fields dominate this county park that's surrounded by scrubby hillsides.

“Nice quiet scenery with some cows and horses thrown it.”
Manzanita county park snacks available during game days. Accept Apple Pay Cash/ Venmo. Very huge, dog friendly, plenty of parking, restrooms available, hiking trails leading around manzanita. Please make sure you check your pets for any ticks. I just went on a hike and my dog had a tick we didn’t go off trail.
The trails are wide and easy to walk. Dogs and horses are allowed. You can see the ocean from the trail. You can't see it in the picture because of the sun, but its there
Amazing opportunities for people of all ages! Sporting events for the entire family, and a wonderful 2.5 m hike for pet owners and horse lovers.
Love my morning walks. 3 miles a day 6 days a week. Love seeing the sunrise. When it rises.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
