Confirmed from Natividad Creek Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreational venue featuring trails, picnics & playgrounds, plus a skate area & dog park.
What runners say about Natividad Creek Park
“Great park for people of all ages and I'd say the community had done a great job of keeping it clean.”
“She says it needs some grass and shade to make it 4/4.”
Great place for your dog to make friends! Snickers rate this dog park 3 out of 4 paws. She says it needs some grass and shade to make it 4/4.
A place that is nestled in the forefront of the mountain range, creating a scenic retreat from the busy everyday life. Take a nap, have a BBQ, let the kids scream their heads off in play yard; either way it's a great park to sink into for events and leisure quiet time - got a good book to bring?
A large, popular park with a lot of distinct areas. There is a public restroom. I didn't use it, so I'm not sure about the condition. The dog park is divided into two fenced areas: one area for small dogs and one for medium and large dogs. There are tennis courts and basketball courts.
Great for bringing your dogs and children they have a dog park where you can let your dogs run around and socialize with other pets. There is a playground for your kids and a taco truck nearby in case you get hungry after a run.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
