The trail was very well maintained and amazing! It is a trial that keeps giving through and through. The lichen covers trees are fabulous! Nice easy hike to do with the family. A short 1/2 mile or so over level ground, before crossing a steel bridge before coming to a small wooden bridge over the falls runoff. After this there is a set of steps heading up (and at the junction a small sign saying go left!
Great trail, we'll marked. Mostly flat through the trail till you get close to the waterfall, then you have some steep stairs to climb. But we'll worth the time out. When we went it was raining pretty hard and the trail had alot of puddles so wear boots to keep your feet dry if you go when raining. Beautiful area.
Easy "hike" with HUGE atmosphere and breath-taking waterfall at the end. It will get a little steep at the end but it's not a big deal. The rest of the trail is well maintained and easy (flat). Lots & lots of opportunity for pictures. We took a side trail up a slope that was much more aggressive hiking and it was fun.
