Great place where you can either take an easy walk right next to the river or take a more challenging hike. Very few mosquitos and the park was quite empty on a beautiful summer day, which we loved. On a hot day you cool off by sticking your feet into the River 😊.

What a trail! We completed the blue loop and not only was it well marked, but it was full of elevation, rock gardens and a good variety of obstacles. I was truly impressed at how well the blazes were consistent, and how clear the trails were.
Went on labor day weekend and the park was empty. The picnic tables look like they were placed there in the 70's and haven't seen much use since. The little charcoal grills near the tables looked new though. The entire park looked like it had chops back some years ago, but maybe doesn't attract a crowd anymore.
