Confirmed from Mason Mill Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Relaxed park featuring tennis courts, a playground and walking trails.
What runners say about Mason Mill Park
“Mason Mill Park offers scenic wooded trails, a great playground, and well-kept tennis courts.”
“This park located off Clairmont Road near the Atlanta VA Medical Center is a beautiful park to take your kids out to play, have a picnic, or play a game of tennis.”
“The scenery is beautiful—quiet, green, and peaceful, like something out of a storybook.”
This park is a fantastic family friendly place to bring young children. There are two playgrounds, one meant to be for younger children and one for the older. It has a wonderful rubbery walkway that is a cushion incase of falls.
I came out for a walk, but received so much more! The Garden Club was worth the drive for me. 🥰 I love what y'all are doing out here! The park was clean, the garden was beautiful - what a great experience!
Fantastic park with fun slides for the big kids and also good playground equipment for toddlers too. There’s a few different swing sets, lots of slides, and there’s a few different picnic tables (with roofs) plus a large pavilion to host large gatherings. It’s also just down from the Dekalb Tennis Center.
I just discovered the South Peachtree Creek Trail at Mason Mill, and it might be my new favorite place to walk. The scenery is beautiful—quiet, green, and peaceful, like something out of a storybook. The boardwalk is in great shape and easy to walk, so there’s no need to watch your step every five seconds.
