Confirmed from Maximo Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Maximo park is located at the foot of 275 leading you to the bridge. Great place to spend the day or just a few hours. Yes Park has it all. You can bring a picnic and enjoy one of the covered pavilions. There’s also a covered playground for the children. You could also walk your dog on a leash. Don’t forget the boat.

Well kept, clean, and plenty to do in this quiet gem tucked off the interstate and off the bay. There is a boat ramp with plenty of parking or space with trailers. There is a long area of paths for walking and biking, most of which is shaded. This park has 18 holes of frisbee golf that wind throughout the park.

★★★★★ — Erroll , Apr 2022

A great place to walk your dog! Definitely a little rough trying to find parking during prime time, but doable and so worth the little adventure. It’s not a challenging trail by any means, but a nice walk through some wooded areas while navigating around the disc golf courses.

★★★★★ — Taylor , Apr 2023

Maximo Park is now one of our favorite outdoor spots! It has everything: boat ramps, free parking, shaded walking paths, picnic areas with grills, a little beach, a playground, and even disc golf. It’s super peaceful and never feels too crowded.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
