Confirmed from McLinden Nature Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Wooded park with trails for walking and hiking, including some with water views.
What runners say about McLinden Nature Trails
“Beautiful place, very clean beach and friendly people.”

“Only saw two other hikers on the trails, a peaceful and relaxing place to hike.”
Nice place to go walk the dogs, they even provide poop bags if you forget yours. Has a small 1 mile loop and a larger loop that's maybe over 2 miles. Trail needs some mowing and brush trimmed back. Nice big parking lot could hold 20 cars. The lot entry needs some attention. It's very rough so enter slowly.
A beautiful place to walk with dogs. It's very quiet and peaceful. Some trails are marked, but there are lots of unmarked trails that can lead to dead ends so you can get a little twisted around if you take the wrong one. The potholes in the parking lot can also swallow a small car so you need to watch out.
So, instead of sitting at home alone, I decided to take a walk take my mind off things such as being alone. And this place was nearby. I'm thinking nice place then I rounded this corner in a treeline to some dude getting sucked off on the trail. Like in the middle of the trail. Still a nice place.
Really nice trails with more than one direction. It's nice and peaceful. Very beautiful. Just be careful not to fall off trees and hurt yourself like I did lol
