Confirmed from Metzler Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌾 quiet & peaceful 7 mentions

“about 20 parking spots so I imagine it gets quite busy during the summer but it's perfect for a quiet fall walk.”

Beautiful little trail, couple bridges to get you over the small streams and a huge river shore to cast from. The main trail was kept nicely and there was a porta-potty

Great Park great trails take you right to the river good little swimming hole or just a great place to relax I absolutely love this Park

★★★★★ — Sloan , Mar 2022

Metzler Park is a wonderful find. Whether you want to get your steps in for the day or to wade in the calm Green River, barely .3 miles from a parking lot, there is plenty to explore here. Bring the fishing pole, this place seems a popular spot.

Awesome nature walk all the way back to the green river. Beautiful scenery and pretty cool bridges made to get you across the swampy parts well depends on the season whether there are swampy parts. That just goes with the level of the river. Any way beautiful and clean park. Even the port-a-pottie was spotless.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
