Confirmed from Mill Pond Park and Adam D Rand Memorial Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Mill Pond Park and Adam D Rand Memorial Trail
“The paved footpath around the lake is short but scenic.”
“It’s actually paved unlike nearby parks and every dog owner has decided to walk their dog there Sunday mornings so the cute puppies were a plus.”
A hidden gem on Long Island! Mill Pond is a mini ecosystem with a small forest, fresh water pond, birds, aquatic plants, ducks, geese, swans, dragonflies and beautiful scenery, all accessible through the trail around the pond. The wildlife there seems not disturbed.
This well-maintained park is a great spot to watch waterfowl and photograph nature shots. The paved footpath around the lake is short but scenic.
Great place. Is this really in Nassau? Feels like your in the woods. Nice path to walk or ride a bike on. You can tie this together with the other preserve to make a bigger loop. Spent close to three hours walking around. Still some I didn't see. Nice reason to come back. The little Gnomes are perfect.
Went here for the first time to get some exercise. Beautiful Sunday afternoon. Very nice woodland walking trail. There's a large pond with geese, ducks and I saw a swan as well. Good for bird watching. Took about 45 minutes to walk the trail which is the circumference of the pond.
