Confirmed from Millennium Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

New and clean playground, as well as swings at this cozy park with picnic tables and slides.

What runners say about Millennium Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (208 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 9 mentions

“The environment is lovely, the park equipment is well maintained and the picnic area is perfectly fine.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“I often go sit at this park because it's so quiet and serene.”

Much has been said of the new playground equipment (and it is wonderful, to be sure). However, the old, wooden playground was one of the masterpieces of Quad City parks. While it's a shame to see the old stuff go, the new park is clean, well maintained, and very inviting.

The new playground is great! The old wooden one was neat, but just hadn't aged well. We've only been a few times since the new playground, but so far haven't had any issues with suspicious behavior there, which is why we had stopped visiting for a couple of years.

Met some relatives for lunch. Nice park, not big, but has bathroom playground and picnic tables. There is no hiking trails.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
