Confirmed from Millport Conservancy's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic hiking trails with a butterfly meadow, overlook, and waterfall, plus benches and bridges.
What runners say about Millport Conservancy
“Natural lovely day in this beautiful place shared by the Millport Conservancy.”
“I've visited this area in the fall and winter and have been so calm by the serene beauty of this area.”
This is a beautiful place to enjoy nature. Lititz Run traverses the preserve and walking trails run along both sides of the creek. There are a couple of sturdy wooden bridges that cross the creek along with a number of benches. The conservancy also offers its own overlook, butterfly meadow, and even a small waterfall.
So peaceful; a real treasure of a trail. You are beside Lititz Run the entire time and even cross it twice (once over a little waterfall) on wooden bridges. We were there the end of October, so you can imagine how magical it was with the season change. 🍂🍁 There are a couple of parking areas off of Warwick Rd.
It’s a nice little trail to walk, fish or bird. It is very peaceful and quiet. You will not see a lot of people walking this area. It is not very long and the trail is not clearly defined or marked. There can be ticks it warmer months so be prepared. It seems like it is not well maintained.
A beautiful short walk around the creek. We took the walk in March & there were lots of wet & muddy spots. So if you do not like wet shoes be sure you wear proper footwear. The walking path around the creek is not well marked. At one point the path seemed to end.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
