Confirmed from Missouri Greenway: John L. LeCave Memorial Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏃 great for running 2 mentions

“Great trail to run, bike, walk, and rollerblade.”

This is a fantastic bike trail. Super smooth with a great view. We picked it up in the parking area and did 7 miles over the interstate and people are super polite and friendly as they pass you or you them. I just wish they would put signage with the trails split off so you know wheee you are going.

Wonderful trail and well kept facility. Enjoyed a nice bike ride on a smoothly paved path wide enough for at least two bikes comfortably. Looks like the path is temporarily blocked at a little over six miles, but twelve miles isn't bad for an evening ride with a friend.

Nice turn around spot for my rides from Pitman Hill at 7 miles. There is parking here and a few wheelchair accessible Porta Potty's. There are 3 covered tables that a really nice, I want one of these.

Perfect for cycling 🚴‍♀️ and long walks! However, the signs and maps aren't particularly helpful, making it difficult to fully explore on the first visit. This location is highly recommended for biking and extended walks of 2-4-8 miles, and more.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
