Confirmed from Phenix City Waterfall's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Dog-friendly park featuring a walking path, baseball fields, playgrounds and a waterfall.
What runners say about Phenix City Waterfall
“Watch out for messes, no one seems to want to clean up after their dogs.”
“Beautiful scenery and waterfall, if taking pictures you'd think you were in on a carribean island.”
“We visited on a rainy/misty day, it was beautifully quiet and a wonderful place for a toddler to climb and explored.”
This is a very clean and active park for families and dog owners. There are usually at least a few people here in the morning walking with their pups or friends.
It was a nice little walk I saw a review of it have snakes I was prepared to see small snakes but we saw a medium one so keep your eyes out if you bring little ones or dogs. I didn’t see it but luckily my husband did one or our dog tried to eat it 🤦🏼♀️ And the other one almost stepped on it.
Very pretty. The waterfall is the best!! I take this as my favorite hiking place. My dad and me have went hiking for 3 days now, and I think this is the best one yet!! But I almost fell in the water. The only problem is that the rocks aren't sturdy. But overall a great place to hike!!
The Phenix City Waterfall is beautiful. It is roadside accessible, and a short walk to get to the bottom of the falls. The area was clean , and made for a nice day trip. Be advised that the rocks are very slippery my oldest daughter busted her tail. 💚

“Careful on the rocks as they are slippery and you climb down into the falls is pretty steep and uneven but this one is a must if you're anywhere in the area.”
