Confirmed from Moses Carper Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Moses Carper Trail

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (17 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

“One of the more peaceful and serene trails of Riverview.”

One of the more peaceful and serene trails of Riverview. I truly love coming here and relaxing as there's so much to see on this trail !

★★★★★ — Renee , Jun 2023

Great trail. Sometimes you might run into a couple displaying more than just public display of affection though

★★★★★ — Ken , Jun 2019

This trail is beautiful. If you park your car where the trailhead sign is (drive around the park on the one way street and you'll eventually see the sign on the right hand side before you would curve around to the pool), there are several directions you can hike.

★★★★★ — Heather , Oct 2017

Great trail for running, walking, and biking! It is currently under maintenance as of February 2023 but I can’t wait to see what it looks like when it’s finished! If your wondering about MTB here, no trails are marked but if I had to say they would mostly be green with a few blue mixed in.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

⛰️ Hills / elevation 7 mentions

“(1)Completely straight will take you up a small hill and into a clearing and loop around.”

  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
