We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Moss Rock Waterfalls yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring a cascading waterfall hiking trails and rock formations along a creek.
What runners say about Moss Rock Waterfalls
“Beautiful nature trails with plenty of water and rocks to entertain yourself with when you get slightly off the beaten path.”
“I really enjoyed this little hike, perfect for all levels.”
It was a moderate hike. Loss rocks and kinda hard to find. I parked in a neighborhood and entered thru what I think is a trailhead. The waterfall after a rain would be beautiful. It was also nice on a dry day. The creek you can see after a rain can be so full with lots of large rocks to sit on, also boulders.
Beautiful nature trails with plenty of water and rocks to entertain yourself with when you get slightly off the beaten path.
My Notes: The trail is moderate level. Less than 3 miles in a loop. A Beautiful area to walk, hike & take pictures. A walking stick will help in some areas. Wear good gripped-bottom shoes. Going in to visit the falls is a downhill path so coming back to the car, it’ll be uphill.
Fun hiking especially up the waterfall which is very minimal water flowing down it but I do not know the area and how much maximum water it has ever but you really have to watch where you're walking because there's a lot of crevices between massive Rock Boulders you don't want to fall in between them.
