Confirmed from Mount Falcon Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

👟 good for all levels 3 mentions

“We would definetly recommend Mount Falcon park to anyone who wants a quiet, easy walk outdoors.”

My husband and I hiked here before going to a concert at red rocks. The multi use trail was well maintained and challenging with the elevation change. All trail users were respectful of each other and it was fun to see red rocks from a distance and then a further distance as we hiked along.

Great hikes with great scenery close to Denver/Englewood. Dog loved it! Highest elevated poop on record ! :) (We made sure to bring bags and carry out our mess)

Beautiful place to hiking. The trail has options for biking/hiking and hike only area. The range is pretty big, straight forward easy to navigate trail! You can see red rock amphitheater upon getting to the top.

★★★★★ — Duy , Dec 2021

Awesome hike that loops one side for bikers, the east side is best if you are hiking (Turkey Trot is the name. Veer off towards Red Rocks early on when it splits with the stunning view of the venue to your right and north. Great trail you can extend it towards the top in a few different directions.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
